Oy. Busy days friends. The first week of the month we packed up the old pad and put it all in a truck. Two days later we unpacked it all. Four days later I got on a plane for London. What a trip. Brilliant. Met some great people, amazing people really, doing really really interesting stuff. And got really drunk with them. They are stuck with me now.
Back to work now and trying to get settled into the new pad. I like it. Lots. Much, much better situation than the old pad. Very happy. Leave in ten days for another wedding, in Tennessee, and a chance to see cherished old friends in both Knoxville and Nashville. Crazy month really, and a good way to close out my 36th.
My birthday is next month and I'll start off the 37th by heading off to Philly so my sweetie can meet my family for the first time. Then things will get busy at work with the start of a new academic year. But come October it's off to Key Largo for a good friend's birthday. Things are good and I am feeling fortunate.
