It felt like a day of beginnings and endings. Finally got my job...and it came with more money than I was anticipating. Enough to keep Sallie Mae at bay for a while anyway. It was an enormous relief to me. Then I said goodbye to some friends who will be missed. One of whom helped to see me through some...tough times, shall we say, in recent years. It felt a little like the end of something, but it was only a goodbye for now. Ended the day by giving a little comfort, I hope, to a new friend dealing with an ending of her own. I guess friends are the common denominator and I am glad for that. I've got some damn good friends.
I have no idea what the future might hold, but I look forward to finding out.
